The Brand Voice Blueprint Template (Teach AI to write like YOU easily)
Did you use ChatGPT for this?
Somebody hit reply on your email and asked if a robot wrote it.
Or nobody asked, which is honestly worse, because then it’s just you at 11pm reading your own newsletter back on your phone, going Who this person and why does she talk like a bank.
You didn’t even do anything wrong! You typed “write in a casual, friendly tone,” you hit enter, and out came 400 words of “In today’s fast-paced digital landscape” with a call to action at the bottom that said Ready to take the next step?
So you rewrote it.
For 40 mins.
At which point you could have written the whole thing yourself and had time left over to eat a sandwich.
And then you did it again the next week.
Here’s what’s actually happening, and no prompt pack is going to tell you this because they’re selling you 300 prompts.
“Casual and friendly” describes roughly 400 million people and one Wendy’s social media account.
You never told it what YOU sound like. You couldn’t, because your voice lives in your mouth. It comes out perfectly fine when you’re leaving a voice note for your funniest friend, and then you open a blank doc and it evaporates and gets replaced by a woman named Brenda from Corporate Communications.
But it does mean the fix isn’t a better prompt.
The fix is a spec sheet for your voice that you’ve never written down.
So I built one.
THE BRAND VOICE BLUEPRINT. 28 pages, fill-in-the-blank, done in 43 mins while your laundry’s in the dryer.
You fill it in once. You paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or whatever gets launched next Tuesday, and then you stop rewriting.

What you actually walk away with:
- 31 questions that pull your real voice out of you, including “what’s your go-to insult for a bad trend” and “what word makes you physically cringe.” Nobody asks you to describe your brand adjectives, because that question has never produced a useful answer in the history of business.
- A banned words list that kills about 80% of the robot residue before you write a single word. You’re going to start seeing EVERYWHERE and never unsee.
- One master prompt block you copy, paste, and never think about again, so your emails sound like you while you’re ignoring your laundry and looking at your ex’s vacation photos.
- 3 sample voices built out end to end
- 4 side-by-side rewrites. Same email, robot version next to trained version. You will read the second one and go “oh. OH.”
- The 6 things that go wrong and how to fix each one in under a minute, for when it’s still off and you can’t figure out why.
That’s less than you’d pay a copywriter to write ONE email, and this one writes all of them, forever, in your actual voice.

But wait, you have concerns
“I already bought a prompt pack.”
Yep. And it gave you somebody else’s prompts, which is why it produced somebody else’s voice. This isn’t 300 prompts. It’s one prompt, with YOU in it.
“I don’t think I have a strong voice.”
You have opinions about at least 4 things nobody asked you about, and you have a phrase you say constantly that you’ve never noticed. That’s a voice. The worksheet’s whole job is dragging it out of you.
“Won’t this be useless when the tools change?”
Voice is voice. The blueprint doesn’t care which box you paste it into, and I promise your personality is not getting deprecated in the next update.
“I don’t have 43 mins.”
You have 40 mins. I know because you spend them every week rewriting a robot’s homework. Spend them ONCE instead.
Last thing.
You’ve been telling stories at dinner your whole life and you’re good at it. Then something about a screen makes everybody start writing like an annual report.
Fill in the blueprint, paste it in, go do something else while it writes.
And when somebody replies to your next email asking if you used AI, it’ll be because they want to know what prompt you used.
